Unikas Black

Unikas Black is a collection of handmade black ceramic vases thrown on the wheel in Fernando Durao’s Buenos Aires studio. Each piece is fired at 1200°C in high-fire stoneware and finished with a custom matte black slip formulated from raw minerals — no commercial glazes. The result is a surface that carries the evidence of the brush: alive, directional, never repeated.

Every vase in this collection is a one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic art object. No molds, no editions, no reorders. Each piece ships with a signed certificate of authenticity confirming its singularity. These are black stoneware vases made for interiors that don’t need decoration — only presence.
