Unikas Quartz

Unikas Quartz is a collection of handmade white ceramic vases thrown on the wheel in Fernando Durao’s Buenos Aires studio. Each piece is fired at 1200°C in high-fire stoneware and finished with a custom mineral slip that reads like stone — matte, tactile, and alive in light. The surface is not a glaze. It is a formula developed over decades from raw minerals, applied by hand directly onto the clay body.
