A set of three handmade white ceramic vases in three completely distinct forms — thrown on the wheel in Fernando Durao’s Buenos Aires studio. What makes this set unique is the coexistence of three different formal languages: a tall, elongated piece; a low, spherical piece; and a wide, flared piece. Three forms that share the same surface and the same material — and create, together, a composition with its own visual rhythm. One of a kind, no editions, no reorders.
The pure white of the mineral quartz slip unifies the set without erasing the identity of each individual form. Placed on a console, a sideboard, or a living room surface, the variety of forms generates visual conversation without visual noise. Each piece is complete on its own — the set is stronger than the sum of its parts.
The surface is finished with Fernando’s custom mineral quartz slip — a formula developed over 35 years of studio practice from raw minerals: feldspars, silica, natural oxides. Applied by hand, layer by layer, directly onto the raw clay body. Matte, textured, and alive in light.
Each piece is fired at 1200°C in high-fire stoneware.
Each piece ships with a signed certificate of authenticity from the artist.
